Lancaster / New Holland KOA Journey

"We loved this location. It's nicknamed "The Quiet One" for a reason; we were there for a few nights and it was just that. The bathroom facilities were the absolute best we have ever seen at a campground. Located in Amish Country, there was no road noise apart from the occasional clip clop of a horse and buggy passing by. We highly recommend this campground to couples looking for a quiet getaway. We didn't see very many kids during our time there, but it could have been due to the season. Our site was backed into the trees in a wooded loop and it was not perfectly level."

"We usually stay at KOA when we camp and I have to say this is one of the best. Campground is very well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. The new sites that have been added are very nice, especially the patio sites. This also is one of the quietest campgrounds we have stayed at. It is located in the country, but the major attractions in Lancaster are only about 30 minutes away."

"This campground is fantastic! The "newish" owners are putting in a lot of improvements like additional sites, patios, new fire rings, etc. It's clean, quiet, and the staff has always been pleasant and helpful. Location is spot on. We have come every year for several years now in November. Oh, and the views are spectacular! We love it here!"

"We stayed here for a long weekend. The campground was clean and spacious. All the sites looked like they had a good amount of space. The views were outstanding some spots didn't have views but that's okay there are plenty of seats around the campground to take in the views. The bathhouse were clean and taken care of the showers were very nice heated floors were very appealing in the chilly morning. We visited the dog parks a few times and they were very nice, there are 2 a smaller one at the bottom and a bigger one up top. The staff were excellent and friendly super helpful as well. We were very happy with our stay and can't wait to come back."

"We found this campground on short notice, so didn't have a lot of choices, but the size and location was fine. Best part of this location is you are in the heart of Amish Farm country. Plenty of local places to visit and even a bakery across the street that has wonderful baked goods on Friday and Saturday. There are not a lot of fancy amenities here, but the location is worth going. Close by there are a couple of towns that have wineries and breweries. Places to go that also have outside vendors if you want to be outside to dine. The campground was very clean and quiet. We will definitely plan ahead the next time to hopefully land a spot that we were able to scope out for our next visit"
