"We found out that we owed a very large sum of taxes despite what Mr Avey told us that we owed when he completed our taxes for us. We found this out by a letter from the IRS. When we called and emailed multiple times to find out what happened that we owed so much even after we had already paid what we thought we owed there was zero response from Mr Aveys office. Therefore we had to pay what was owed and all the late fees without an explanation of what happened on Mr Avey’s side of things. I don’t understand how someone with his years of experience can’t file taxes correctly, return phone calls or emails to his clients. It was a very unprofessional, frustrating and disappointing experience."

"I spoke with lady there and needless to say very RUDE. They did my taxes and somehow put my stimulus check in only his acct. Was from a couple yrs ago. Thank goodness my friend a Branch Manager it was in acct of 2018 or 2019 and was right. Avey's office she told me up front rudely that they have no info on stimulus pymts. When in fact they do since stimulus check based on tax return info. Then Dad's bank would not tell me amount, etc. So my check, not endorsed by me. I think our resources are limited and stimulus still unlimited. So the public turns to IRS (complicated and long wait) and/or our Accountant. Feels like you bother them in person or over the phone. Unreal So basically if my Dad n I were on bad non speaking status...I'd be lost out of my wonderful govt much needed help. UNREAL!"
