Connellsville Bed and Breakfast

"Solvak Room was clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful chandeliers throughout the house. Bed was very comfortable. Expect a lot of light coming into the room through the door at night. The breakfast was delicious. However the host seemed a bit disgruntled. Our initial greeting via ring door bell was an unpleasant "We will be down in a bit." While we were standing outside in the rain. Durring our morning conversation with other guest during our 30min breakfast we overheard host say a bit loudly with a rude tone, "No body wants to leave." Overall the B&B would have been somewhere we would have recommended had the host been more pleasant and inviting."

"I stayed here after the first leg of my first bike touring trip. It rained all day and I had a flat. When I arrived they had the hose ready! The French room was street level and very clean! They had all the amenities needed like shampoo/bodywash/conditioner/lotion! In the morning I had a DELICIOUS breakfast! The host offered to help me change my tire and had a full bike work station in the garage! The garage is secure, which was nice to not worry about my bike overnight. They have a super sweet older dog that swung by to say hi while I was outside. That was the only time I saw her, but she brightened my dreary day! I will100% be staying here again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. We were greeted by Lucy’s husband, Guido,who opened the garage for us in a downpour. He even gave us towels to dry off our bikes and panniers. Great location if you are riding the GAP. Comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend!"

"Just a block from the GAP trail and right in town within walking distance to everything. The house was spotless. The breakfast was the best I've ever had. Locked garage storage for bikes. This place is a must stay if riding the trail!"

"Charming inn, fabulous breakfast, busy location. The interior is classically beautiful. We stayed in a separate, accessible room (the French Room) with a private entrance at ground level on the busier side of the building; it was spacious and comfortable, but lacked the charm of the rest of the inn. Great location for cyclists, one block off of the GAP trail, with a large garage for bike storage overnight. Lucy, the innkeeper, was friendly and helpful, and served up a delicious breakfast. We had a very nice stay."
