"This place is not cool or fair basically they want you to be disrespected by workers that have been there for years and if you go talk to HR or your supervisor nothing gets done then when u are forced to defend yourself from basically being bullied they take you off schedule they say they investigate but they don’t they take the side of the person that was there longer and fire the new employee I went to work on time everyday never was late and put in overtime then the moment I defended myself from a co worker that was basically trying run over me they terminated me but I loved working here for the clients cause lord knows they need all the genuine love they can’t get"
"Hate the way it ended but great company and great co workers they give you a fair shot"
"I applied for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential - Part-Time position at Barber National Institute on 7/23/2020 on Indeed site. On the 7/26/2022 This is the email I received from this Lady call Diane Hogan.am reaching out to you as I came across your resume/application in our system, I would like to talk with you regarding your experience, regarding the Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential - Part-Time position here at Barber National Institute. If you would like to learn more about the position please feel free to contact me, as I am currently scheduling interviews. Diane Hogan Recruitment Specialist So I email back that same day we were both for Ishia Fofana Meeting (Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential) Tuesday Aug 2, 2022 ⋅ 11am – 11:30am (Eastern Time - New York). After that I was so excited looking forward for my video meeting interview with Diane Hogan. So on August 2nd came at 11:25am I login to the Google meet app no one wasn't there so I waited for awhile at 11:30 still no one wasn't there finally at 11::50 I decided to email her but never responded back to me after 11:50 she finally made it to the meeting chatting room. She started giving excuses that she is always having a problem with the Google meet app. Then we moved on from that issue. Ok now the meeting has began she asked me to say my name and I did so . So we moved on to the next question she asked why do I wanted to work as a Direct Support Professional caregiver. as sooner I started to answer the question she seeing as if she is already starting to get frustrated with my accent immediately at that point she won't allow me to said anything as for me too by looking into her eyes at that moment i started felt uncomfortable the way I speak and lost concentration on the words i was saying. Now all I could hear her say was that, she kept on saying I'm sorry I can't hear anything you're saying and she will had me repeated myself over and over again still she will said I can't hear you I'm sorry. So after awhile she finally ask me to reschedule the interview to the 8th of August 2022 so I said ok no problem and she told me by the end of August 2nd she will emailed with a different confirmation email regarding our next meeting interview day. So after that day passed she never did so. So today is August 8th 2022 . At 12:55 pm this is the email I received from Diane Hogan Hi Ishia, Thanks for your interest in the Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Residential - Part-Time position. We want to thank you for the time and energy you invested in your application. Unfortunately we've reviewed your application and have decided we won't be moving forward with you for this role.. Diane Hogan needs to know how to treat others people from a different background culture. She didn't treated me no good at all. She needs to know also that in America No one is above or beyond the reach of the law, and no one is entitled to unfair advantages or subjected to unequal penalties based on the law. Thus, everyone must be treated equally under the law regardless of race, gender, color, ethnicity, religion, disability, or other characteristics, without privilege, discrimination or bias. I wish I could give a zero staircw will. I have been in this country over 20 years I have never came across such an awkward moment like Diane Hogan interview moment I also had worked in the field over 6 years never had any issues or awkward moment. This is my first time writing a review just because of the way she chooses to treated me"
