Waring Commons

Waring Commons, located at 47830 College Drive in Saint Marys City, Maryland, is an institution that supports the academic mission of the College by providing safe, supportive, and civil living-and-learning communities for students. The Office of Residence Life can be reached at (240) 895-4207 in Glendening Hall 150.

Living on campus at St. Mary’s is a unique experience with a wide variety of housing options available for students based on class standing and preferences. The housing options are divided into South Campus and North Campus, with specialty housing options such as Women in Science Housing, Substance- and Alcohol-Free Environment housing, and Open & Inclusive Housing also available.

Most first-year students start off in the traditional residence halls like Prince George, which provide more staff supervision, programming, and support. St. Mary’s College of Maryland reserves the right to provide course content through alternative delivery methods, including remote methods, and may change the method of delivery in the event of a health or safety emergency.
