H&R Block

"Lisa Williamson was my agent and extremely unhappy with the tax services there. Did not fully file my taxes properly asking me to do certain things myself, wasted time and money, and yet as of this moment still wasting time traveling to other HR block locations that are closed and no one there to fix my stuff. Very extremely disappointed as i have been with HR block for about 10 years and never had an issue like this!"

"Absolutely the worst tax experience of my life. Started off with a preparer that typically works somewhere else, common during tax time I guess. We did the drop off option and our preparer said it would be two weeks before she got to it. No biggie. It’s busy. I get it. Upon returning we waited for 2 hours because our ORIGINAL TAX DOCUMENTS WERE LOST. Finally found them in a random persons desk. Waited another hour even though our tax were supposedly complete. Turns out we had 3!!!!! Returns for three different states filed incorrectly. We only found out because we were told we were getting a return from one state. Waited waited waited. Called the Department of revenue and to our surprise we owed them! Called corporate, they told us to return to a block location to get it fixed. Waited another 30 minutes after our appointment. Finally got some assistance and to our surprise again, our original preparer FORGOT TO FILE A WHOLE STATE. So, apparently, the new preparer started to fix it and ended our appointment by telling us she wouldn’t be working on anything again until the middle of July. WHAT THE ACTUAL???? Lastly, told us to expect an additional letter from another state that didn’t get filed. Absolutely worst worst worst experience ever. This is literally a tragedy. Still no answers."

"Make sure you have plenty of time on your hands before coming to this location. I am around 1 hour into my appointment. I had already uploaded all of my documents into my H&R portal, but I guess it didn't help. I may update this post when they complete my return. Keep in mind, I had already started everything online and just needed a second look for one problem. If you have nothing started before you come in, you may be here for hours. Leaving on a good note, the workers are very friendly, and the office is nicely cleaned. I would recommend this location as long as you have the time. I guess in the end, I would rather them take their time and not miss anything. Unless the long time is due to inexperience. Non the less, I thank them for the service they provided me. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(UPDATE)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I increased the stars to 4 because of their kindness. My tax pro was very helpful. Thank you so much for your help at the end with the price."

Although my side of the things were complicated, my tax professional clearly explained everything to me and spent quality time with me. The process was easy and I walked away feeling satisfied."
