Dollar General,

1620 West High Street, Stowe, PA 19464

"Why have store hours when they don’t follow them? Arrived at 8:15 am and the store is to open at 8am! There were 3 trucks with carts loaded at the door to deliver and they were not open as the door was locked’ these delivery drivers knocked and knocked and no one opened’ the lights were on and looked ready but nothing! I ended up leaving after waiting over 10 min but felt bad for these delivery drivers as they have lots more deliveries to make but are stuck with the skids at the door! I get things happen but apparently this happens very often! Change your dang hours then! I’ve shopped at this location a handful of times due to poor customer service! There used to be a few nice ones but haven’t seen them anymore!"

"The store hours are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. I've been there twice, once at 8:30 and 9:40 in the evening to the door locked. When I asked the gentleman why they were closed, he said "we're stocking shelves". So, you lock your doors when your store is supposed to be open for customers? It's bad enough you go there and sometimes it's just closed. Very unprofessional to whoever is managing this Dollar General"

"The general manager Channing is completely disrespectful. Me and my friends & family members live in the area and frequently stop by the store and all of us have had a horrible experience with her. She has a very nasty attitude. I get customer service can be frustrating but if you hate your job then just quit. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is because there are only a few other associates that work there & they all are always very nice , especially The older woman that works there. If anybody deserves that position it should be one of them because that general manager position has gone to that woman’s head & she abuses her power."

"Usually this place is great and convenient but lately its just been getting worse and worse. I have been a loyal customer here for 6 years but today was the last straw, when the cashier got mad at me because I asked her not to stuff her face before she rang me up of course I get an ignorant attitude and basically cursed out when I'm just trying to buy my stuff and leave without catching covid! So disgusting."

"I like this particular store bet because they seem to have a bigger selection of craft items, adult coloring books, office supplies, gardening tools and decorations and greeting cards then other Dollar General stores in the nearby area. Those are the department's I buy from the most so any place that has more items to choose from in one or more of those departments is a favorite store of mine!"
