"A truly nurturing music school with excellent teachers. My son has taken both piano and viola lessons for several years now and both teachers have challenged and helped him develop his skills beyond just playing, but as a musician all around. What is more, even with the pandemic and changes requiring virtual learning, the school and teachers did not miss a single step (literally not a single lesson was missed!) and my son continued on the same development trajectory as he would have in person. Not only that but the teachers, Ms Shaina Lore and Ms. Emma Hey have been stellar in providing encouragement during these times and going above and beyond to keep the students engaged, such as Ms Hey (viola) hosting biweekly virtual group classes on her own time for her students, to provide interaction opportunities. We truly consider the Haddonfield School of Music "family"."
"My daughter took violin lessons with Emma for five years and it was a wonderful experience! Emma was always so positive and encouraging. It is difficult to put into words but my daughter is so much more knowledgeable about music and has a greater appreciation for music because of the time she spent with Emma. Best teacher ever!"
"My children have been taking weekly violin lessons at HSM for 5 years and still enjoy going. Their instructor Emma is very energetic and patient. The studio offers opportunities for the them to participate in shows and recitals throughout the year. Additionally, my oldest child was able to take a few voice lessons in preparation for an audition without having to commit to long term voice lessons. The studio is accommodating and instructors are wonderful!"
"I have had my two daughters enrolled in Haddonfield School of Music for over two years. They both take guitar lessons with Nat who is fantastic. They have learned so much and look forward to their lessons each week, especially when they get to rehearse with his band. The concerts are impressive and you can see the pride on the kids' faces. Everyone from the owner to the teachers and receptionists are friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this music school for a quality and enjoyable experience!"
"Haddonfield School of Music is unsurpassed in fostering a love of everything music. An eclectic mix of hip young music teachers keep this studio on the cutting edge of music schools. My children are challenged appropriately, they have all three become fantastic musicians, and they absolutely love their studies. They practice because they want to, and they perform on stage with joy. At the youngest age they’ve been involved in the awe inspiring Grand Recitals and now that they are older they think of performance as second nature. As a child, I had a violin teacher who did not inspire, teach, or promote performance and by age 12, the violin was abandoned. Thanks to Haddonfield School of Music, I know my children are not going to be faced with the same disappointment."
