"I have been taking lessons with Irvin for a couple of years now and my time on the dance floor is the best part of every week. In working with Irvin I’ve focused on the rhythm dances: Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Mambo/Salsa and Bolero. Irvin is a talented, skilled and very entertaining instructor. He has a knack for understanding each student’s learning style and tailors the lessons accordingly. I tend to be an analytical person and artistic expression does NOT come naturally. Irvin has been so helpful working with me to break things down in a way I can understand and process, and he’s helped me to relax, have more fun and show more expression with the dances. His professional partner, Lupita, also brings so much talent and positive energy to the studio. She has been a coach to me during a couple of lessons so she could help specifically with arm styling and expression. Highly, highly, highly recommend them both. You are in for a treat if you’re considering dance lessons at the Chester studio."

"Lupita and Irvin are amazing teachers. I’ve being dancing with them for 3 years and they’ve made me feel very competent as a social dancer for salsa, bachata, merengue and West Coast Swing. I’ve also danced these forms with Lupita at regional and National competitions.
