"Have time for Elvis show starts at"
"It's worth visiting just for the architecture and the organ music before the show. A York treasure."
"A lovely theater"
"My wife and I attended a comedy show here at the Appel Center Capitol Theatre this past Friday evening that headlined Mark Gregory and Fen Guilliaume AKA FunSizeFen. These are two nationally well known performers whom we were very much looking forward to seeing their productions. Unfortunately, the folks at Appel Center Capitol Theatre had the sound levels set so outrageously that it was extremely difficult and at times impossible to understand the words of the comedians. This was an absolute disservice to both the performers and also the audience members. Being recent transplants to York, this was our first visit to the Appel Center Capitol Theatre. As the old saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first good impression, and the Appel Center Capitol Theatre failed to make a good first impression on my wife and me. We will certainly be strongly hesitant to ever return to this theatre."
"Excellent place to take the family for a FREE movie and live organ music. Free movies all summer long. This is a must ."
