The Newgrange School

The Newgrange School, located at 800 North Road in Hopewell Township, New Jersey, is a state-approved private school for children with disabilities and special needs. Our mission is to improve educational outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities and empower them to become accomplished, dynamic members of society.

Founded in 1977, The Newgrange School offers a supportive environment with small student-teacher ratios to help students achieve learning success. Our dedicated teachers understand each student's strengths and weaknesses, providing personalized instruction to create effective learning pathways.

We offer a wide range of programs and academic offerings for children ages 7-21 with disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, and other non-verbal learning disorders. Our experienced staff, including specialists in speech and language pathology, occupational therapy, and social work, work with students on a 1-to-1 basis to support their individual needs.

With accreditations from the Middle States Association, CESS, and the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools, The Newgrange School is committed to providing a quality education that prepares students for college and beyond. Our teachers undergo continuing education and specialized training in multisensory teaching approaches to ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed.
