"I have been going to LARC with my patient as a one on one nurse for 3 years and have nothing but great things to say about this school. As soon as you come in the building you are greeted by the front desk whose staff members are always smiling and eager to assist you. The staff is so caring and attentive to all the children always aware of their needs and understand that each child needs a different approach and give each child that special attention that they need. I find that they enjoy involving us in the activities of our children and are always enthusiastic to assist in any task that I may need. The school nurses are knowledgeable of all their students and also willing to help if needed with the care of the students with one on one nurses. The therapists communicate with the teachers and parents to help make goals and at time exceed them. Since I do not work for the school but an outside contractor I was unsure of what to expect, however the staff welcomed myself and all others as part of the Larc family; they have a day were they bring a snack out to all the bus drivers and aides to thank them for their hard work. They invite us to partake in my events through out the year and make us feel as part of the team. I am so impressed with the supervisors, principal and director. These ladies are so involved in each of their children well being and care it is so nice to see. They know the name of all the children and can chat with them about their family members and events. They not only do things to have the school be safe and a positive learning environment but also fun like dances, and concerts and school wide games. The learning environment is so structure and each activity is broken down for each student to work on their individual skill level. I recommend this school to anyone who has a special need child and unsure where they should go, at least take a tour and you can see for yourself how truly right this school is for anyone. I am happy to come into the building each week knowing that my client will be well cared for, treated with respect, pushed to her potential and assure that all her needs are met in a fun, safe, clean, respectful environment. I wish I could give it more stars!!!"
