"The once power dining spot, Oval Room, is now La Bise — a classic French bistro not far from the White House. The filet mignon was lovely ... but the mini soufflé was def the highlight. (I wish more places would serve soufflé in DC!)"

"A few colleagues and I grabbed dinner at La Bise while in DC for work. I got the salad, sea bass and dessert. Every dish was delicious. I found myself admiring my boss’ Spanish octopus, which according to her, was also delicious. The service was amazing! The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, which unfortunately seems to be a rarity. The reservation was under my name, and the maître d' made a concerted effort to acknowledge me by name. Needless to say, I will return."
