"Brian B is a great therapist. He is very patient, encouraging, smart and professional. He listens to all your concerns and provides the right treatment plan to help you succeed in recovery. I would use him again and l give him the highest rating. Thank You for your help. I highly recommend him!"
"Brian was great. He spent time listening to my questions and always gave an explanation I could understand. He worked through the progression of my rehab at the perfect pace always upping the bar. I also found the rehab room spotless, and was impressed that after every time I used a piece of equipment it was immediately wiped down. I highly recommend Lawrence Rehabilitation Out Patient for physical therapy, and if there is a chance ask for Brian."
"The only thing I would recommend is the physical therapy and occupational therapy. I needed acute therapy and I looked forward to it every day. I like how I was challenged and I pushed myself so I can get better. Some therapists told me they never saw a patient make as much progress as I did in such a short time where it could take weeks with other patients. Christina, George, Nina, and Karin were some of the therapists and were so awesome. I had to learn how to walk again after going through surgery that did not go well. Dr Terry was absolutely kind, caring and professional. Everything else was horrible. The food was disgusting, and the kitchen put things on my tray that I did not order and what I ordered I did not get. One breakfast was French toast and I do NOT eat pork products and they put bacon on top of it. I refused the tray and I called to speak to the kitchen supervisor. One dinner I got a turkey burger. It was white and cold. Disgusting. Food was cold at times, and the coffee tastes like lukewarm pee. Some of the aides were good but one aide did not help me when I needed help, and she was walking in the hall wearing ear pods laughing talking to someone on the cellphone. I reported her to the nursing supervisor and corporate. One nurse, Alexis RN (3rd floor) was really awesome and went out of her way if I needed help. The bathroom was cleaned about 3-4 times of the 15 days I was there. Bathroom should be cleaned every day. I requested kosher packs for my meals, and I never received one, so my religious rights were violated. I filed a complaint with the state. The social worker who spoke to me in my room never returned my calls when I was discharged to home, so I had to speak to the supervisor. Disgusting how my calls were ignored by David, social worker. At least I had my own room since I didn't want a roommate. I would not return to this facility. They need to train employees to return phone calls, and to help patients instead of talking on the cellphones."
"We have been to numerous rehab facilities and Lawrence Rehab Hospital has been the best! The therapists are so knowledgeable about what they are doing and really care about the patient's progress. I couldn't have asked for better rehab for my husband, who is a stroke patient. He has thrived after getting rehab here and we fully intend to come back to Lawrence Rehab when he needs their services again. Thank you to everyone here for your caring and kindness!"
"I write to praise and thank all the kind, caring and knowledgeable staff here. I spent more than a week as an inpatient in acute care, and the doctors, nurses and nurses aides all took great care of me. So did the inpatient occupational and physical therapists, who literally helped me get back on my feet and helped me reclaim much of my motion on my left side. I have since moved on to outpatient care. Occupational therapists Ranu and Jessie were incredibly supportive and patient as they helped me regain full function on my left side. Physical therapist Brian has been a tremendous guide in helping me strengthen my legs to compensate for challenges with my knees. Along with his colleagues, he has made a tremendous impact on helping me get along in my daily life. I marvel at how everyone on the outpatient staff treats their patients with patient, respectful, professional care. Their camaraderie and willingness to help each patient meet their individual challenges inspires me to continue my recovery. The "St." has been removed from the rehab hospital's name, but saints remain on site. They are the members of the staff who have helped and continue to help me and others toward full recovery. I am grateful."
