Virtua Primary Care - Moorestown at Young Avenue

"My husband called to get an appointment with his PCP (Dr. Shapiro). He has been a patient at this practice for about 20 years. He had no specific complaints BUT he has chronic illnesses for which he sees specialists. First appointment :MARCH 2024- 6 MONTHS. RIDICULOUS. OK, no problem, he will see someone else in the practice- WHAT, NOT ALLOWED TO SCHEDULE WITH ANOTHER PROVIDER UNLESS APPROVED BY SCHEDULING SPECIALIST. What happened to patient choice? Wake up Virtua Primary Care and Virtua- you are not serving the needs of your patient population. Flu shot OK... Covid shot...go to pharmacy. REALLY. Health care at its worst. Luckily, I go to Cooper and PENN. Never have a problem getting appointments."

"This practice was awesome when it was Mt. Laurel Family Physicians over on ark road. After the transfer you can not get an appointment to save your life. Our doctors (multiple at this point) all left and to get an appointment here takes 4-5 months. What sense does that make? Honestly, virtua ruined a great family practice. Dr. Land sold out to the highest bidder and his patients have paid the price."
