"Teachers dont care about anything but the paycheck and making kids lives worse. No one cares about what you do unless it gets public attention. Some teachers are amazing but it doesn't make up for the trash."
"I'm giving them one star due to the fact that nobody in the office knows how to return parents phone calls they want parents to be involved and what their child is doing in school but when you call them and try to reach out to them nobody in the main office returned your any of the phone calls. This is ridiculous and it's the same thing when you call the ministration building nobody returned your calls nobody helped you it just seems like nobody cares and seems like the reading School District been going downhill for years now"
"Much better than RIHS but still needs some work; food sucks ass; Improved a lot over the years though that's good but they decided to add 9th grade while it's already almost over crowded which I think is a big mistake."
"This school projects their constant dedication to education and improving the field, but actions speak louder than words. It seems as though little attention is given to actually promoting higher education standards and the biggest issue is those in administration. A lot of the teachers do what they can with the resources given to them and the issue resides within the higher officials who solely care about their paycheck at the end of the day. Don't just profess to care about the students β do something about it. If you need any assistance after graduation, good luck. They don't seem to care much about assisting you once you're gone. This school needs a great reconstruction to improve the education standards in this city -- take it from a former grad who actually went here."
"This school is not as terrible as people make it seem. If you are a good kid/decent kid and don't hang out with the wrong crowd you will do fine. The downside is that being in a city there are a lot of kids who don't take their education seriously. That aside it is like any other school. Just pay attention, know which classes you want to take, and if you want to do well don't hang around people who will negate your hard work. I would say try not to take regular level courses. They are pretty agonizing and seem as though they were made for idiots. Try to take honors if u even have a little bit of a brain. Also it just looks better on your transcripts to take honors or ap if u can anyway. Another downside is that it is overpopulated, but the number of students won't take away from your learning experience if you take the right courses. In fact if you are a good student you will probably stand out more among the kids who don't appreciate their education."
