Hunterdon Family Medicine at Riverfield Clinton

"I am very disappointed with Riverfield family practice. I have been sick lately. My last Dr. Appointment I thought went great. Came to find out it did not. Had blood work done. And was told after my blood work comes back , that I would be sent to a neurologist and cardiologist. Do to my numb , sometimes very painful legs. Dizziness And vision changes periodically. I waited almost 3 weeks to hear about my blood work. When I decided to call and find out what the hold up was. I was told that the Dr. I saw suddenly quit the practice and left the state. And that my results were sitting there with out a Dr signature. What the heck? Are you kidding me? Why did no other dr take over her cases after she quit? I never heard back from a Dr. About the blood work or what the Dr. That quit, haf discussed. And now i I have gotten worse. Here I sit in pain and also difficult to walk. . Trying to get an appointment for tomorrow which would be Tuesday. Was told once again they only have same day appointments. Told me to call at 8:00 am to see if there are appointments available. Like usual. Absolutely ridiculous. Guess I'll just end up in the ER. At this point."

"Rude. Incompetent. They over bill, I even have a bill for a visit that never happened. Never pickup the phone. You can’t wait on hold. If you want to see your doctor, be prepared to wait months. They used a third party when I transferred my medical records to St Luke’s. Changing to St.Luke’s has been night and day. The billing is a fraction of HMC, the service is top notch. Avoid this place."

"Excellent care provided by Dr. Susan Karpinski. She genuinely cares about her patients. Very easy to talk with and discuss medical concerns. Office staff is helpful and kind. Billing has been no issue."

"I am person not likely to write a review, but after reading some from the website, I thought it was important to let others know that I have always been treated with courtesy and respect at this location. With all due respect to other reviews. when I enter the office, it is customary to let the receptionist know that I have arrived. As far as respect for ones time, when I am not taken right away at my appointed time, I feel that maybe there might be a good reason for it. like maybe they had an emergency patient which will alter the schedule. I not saying that it is pleasant waiting, but unless you are waiting more than 30 to 40 minutes then I would feel one would have a legitimate complaint. This has happened seldom to me. I feel that the care is good and the staff, top to bottom are professional. Also know one is forcing me to go to this place. I'm just saying..."

"I don't often write reviews but I felt the need to for this practice. While in the past, the front desk personnel weren't the greatest, I will say that they certainly have been quite pleasant the last two times I've been. I would go to the practice either way for one reason: Dr. Kolpan. In my many years, I have been to so many doctors and he by far is the best, over and above any other I've seen. He takes his time with you, he reassures you, he answers all of your questions, his knowledge is incomparable and he is a true partner in your health. I'm so thankful that I found him. He is the best of the best."
