"I scheduled 2 appointments with a Life stance therapist, and was told I would have a $60 payment. I paid the $60 for each appointment. Months later, I check the portal and see that I now have a $450+ bill due. Apparently, my insurance did not cover the full costs of a visit, which is $260ish per visit without insurance for 40 minutes of talking. With prices like that, it's cheaper to just give up. This type of thing should have been checked before accepting clients and the total price should be given prior to scheduling."

"I'm really happy with LifeStance. It took a few tries, but I finally found a therapist that's for me. The office staff are all nice and professional. However, I'm not happy with the billing department. They say I have an outstanding balance and I don't. I've contacted them and a manager several times and the balance is still there. It's really frustrating."

"A family member is currently receiving psychology and psychiatry services, the company has indicated they will discontinue service in 30 days after being in treatment for 3 months (psychiatry with meds prescribed) and 9 months (psychology) because of a secondary insurance that is available to the family member but not in use. Primary insurance is accepted and billed, all co-pays paid. Providers are great, very sad to loose their support."
