"I was referred by my primary doctor to this office for treatment. The staff were actually very pleasant despite health insurance confusion. That is until an older male doctor comes out into the waiting area and ask his patients if they are COViD vaccinated. Is HiPPA followed in this office? I’m curious what he would do if the patient said “no” would he refuse to treat? I find it intrusive, unprofessional and shameful for a medical professional to put his patients on an unexpected stage."
"I needed to make an appointment with a neurologist for my 91-year-old grandmother, who went from what I could only describe as an early moderate stage of dementia to advanced dementia overnight (yes, literally overnight). The earliest they had for a new patient was in two months. Not ideal, but understandable for a new patient for a specialist. A few weeks later (after pleading from her primary doctor's office), we were able to move the appointment up to be two weeks sooner with Dr Gupta, but a week before our appointment, they cancelled the appointment on us and said that the Dr wouldn't be there that day because he had to go somewhere for training/class. They offered to reschedule the appointment for TWO months later. When *they* are the ones cancelling the appointment, they should be more accommodating to reschedule. Making us wait another two months is COMPLETELY unacceptable, when we had already been waiting two months. Was told there wasn't anything sooner, at either office location, with either Dr Gupta or Dr Dooneief, not even any openings for emergencies, because many of the staff "go on vacation" this time of year. My concerned neighbor stopped by pretending to be a relative (we didn't ask her to do this) trying to get an earlier appointment... suddenly, they started calling to notify us of cancelled appointments they could reschedule us for... why weren't they doing this in the first place? Do they think we are scheduling appointments for fun? I wasn't going to write this review, but what really made me mad, was I saw someone else wrote a review for the exact same situation of this office cancelling their appointment, and then saying they can't see them for two months. I ended up making an appointment with Abington Neurological, who despite my grandmother being a new patient they told me they'd place on a high priority list for cancellations, was able to see us within a month. I wish I could give the Neurology Group zero stars instead of one. Zero professionalism and zero compassion. You DON'T cancel your clients' appointments on them and then don't reschedule within a reasonable timeline."
"The management and receptionists are extremely rude and will not help patients who have head trauma from an auto accident. Claiming that is their company policy they would not help my 93 yr. old father who was recommended to them by his primary care doctor. We could have paid our bill in cash if necessary, but they did not offer any options."
"My mom went to see Dr Gupta last year. She is 87 years old and now needs to see him again. We called in beginning of Dec and could not get an appt until Jan 25 2019 which we scheduled. Two weeks before her appt. the office called and cancelled my mom’s appt telling me Dr Gupta was going on vacation and they could only reschedule my mom for the end of March in that office! 3 months since we first called to see the neurologist!!!! They also said we could not see another neurologist in the practice. RUN from this group. Clearly they do not take good patient care seriously!!!!!!"
"Not going to anyone at all is better than going here. We've met doctors who flat out say the don't send paitents here. For our personal experience, I'll keep it brief and devoid of details for privacy. They will mistreat, purposely misdiagnos and shrug off what you say, and get you out the door as fast as possible while being as unprofessional as humanly possible. It's a wonder they haven't been sued for malpractice."
