"The clinic looks clean and my needle didn't hurt......that's 5 stars to me and there was no pressure the doctor educated me on my options and gave me time to decide with no pressure and my doctor and nurse was down to earth she didn't act like a no it all"
"UPDATE: it’s been over 3 months since the provider reached out only bc of this review and suggested they would handle the billing issue, yet they are still wasting postage on a fraudulent bill! This establishment prays on the very community it serves - BEWARE! I went for a routine physical. A nutritionist entered the room. I did not request her introduction nor consultation, and thought it was simply a part of the physical. Her summary indicated that all was normal and appropriate, just drink water and eat fruit, yet I am now charged $300 for a service I did not request (my physical was 100% covered by insurance, so they had to find something to charge me for). My wife had an appointment for a physical same day, yet they did not surprise/force this service into her nor charge her a dime. This is one of the main reasons people of color are stigmatized from medical care, because it’s the norm to financially take advantage of unknowing patients. I will not be back for care at this establishment because all trust has been breached, unless or until they rectify and remove this underhanded, sneak service from my claims."
"This review is so hard for me to write because everyone has been really nice and kind, I’ve had a good experience every time I’ve had an appointment here; however as a person taking some medications long-term, one of which requires a new script for each fill, I’ve repeatedly ended up running out of necessary medication because ever since they quit using MyPennMedicine, the portal is almost unusable. My medications disappear from the list, & since I can’t directly contact one of my providers anymore I have to call the appointment line and potentially wait as long as a week for anything to be done (if anything is done - sometimes the pharmacy has to get involved). Absolutely do not recommend if you have any ongoing health needs, it’s far too stressful. Hopefully one day they’ll iron out the problems?"
"I just started seeing a provider here because my old practice became impossible to get an appointment. I have to say the staff is wonderful! Everyone is really nice. My doctor had great clinical manner and really listened to my concerns and collaborated well with me to come up with a health plan. However, at my latest visit 2 weeks ago, I received a script for a med that needs prior authorization. I’ve been calling, leaving messages and even sending messages on MyChart to the clinic, and nothing has been done. I was able to talk to a nurse the first time I called, but never got a follow up call and the med STILL hasnt been authorized. I’m out of the medication that’s needed and now have to wait further until they call and give prior authorization. I don’t know what’s going on with their organizational and clerical capabilities, but this is frustrating."
"the doctors i've met with here have all been wonderful and i would love to give 5 stars, but i've been waiting on them to process prior authorization on 2 medications for a very long time. my pharmacist and i have both been calling regularly but i have no idea what to do to get through to them at this point. they keep promising they'll do it and then dropping the ball. it seems extremely disorganized and at this point i just want my meds"
