Reviews of CHOP Urgent Care, Bucks County
"Was sent here the day after Christmas with my 15 month old by the pediatrician since they did not have anymore sick visits. Waited in the waiting room for 1.5 hours. My kid was the ONLY kid crying the ENTIRE time. He was grunting, retracting, they did not push us to the front. I get everyone has to wait their turn but he was is distress. Wound up at the hospital after 3 breathing treatments with oxygen. Never again!!! I am traumatized watching him struggle and they didn’t even blink an eye. A nurse did come “check” him in the waiting room after he didn't stop crying for 15 minutes but said he “didn’t sound that bad” and left us to continue to wait… after a full exam after 1.5+ hours in the waiting room in distress, she admitted he was grunting but didn’t “sound that bad” until after the first treatment and oxygen they could hear the terrible wheezing. Disgusted with this place!!!"
"I am losing faith in CHOP offices by the day. This is my wife and I's first experience outside of our CHOP primary care and it was not a good one. We have been struggling since about week two with our newborn constantly throwing up and fussing with obvious gas pains. We went here on hopes that we would get answers as it was a very bad night for the little one. The doctor asked what brings us in and we explained. She goes on to tell us that asian cultures call it the 90 day cry and that he is just a baby with colic. Her advise to use was to put headphones on, leave the baby on the floor and walk away. We both were stunned that a so called pediatric experts response to gas pain and non stop vomiting was to let him cry and walk away. So after all this we ask, what about the gas? She replies, well thats because he is crying. Needless to say we are now stuck with a $100 bill, no answers or help and a lot of frustration from this urgent care."
"We were referred here after hours by the primary pediatrician due to the urgency of my daughter’s condition. And wow, what a terrible operation. It looked promising enough. Clean facility, spacious waiting room, seemingly low number of patients. But we waited for about an hour and a half to even be seen. This was at night with a toddler. The rate at which patients were seen was terrible and there seemed to be no urgency. When we did get to the room to see the doctor, the staff was having a long non-work conversation and we were just sitting there losing patience. I’ll avoid this office at all costs next time"
"We brought my 2 year old son here when he fell and got a gash on his chin. The doctor and nurses were fantastic, but we waited almost 2 1/2 hours to be seen. Clearly the staff is doing their best and trying to deal with staffing shortages. Besides the delay, they did an amazing job treating my very feisty kid."
"Fortunately it was our best experience. I was very skeptic, when we decided to came to this urgent care. A lot of people have already wrote about a long waiting time, but we were really lucky. We came on Saturday at 10 a.m. and we were the second on the line. The staff were very polite. Moreover we have waited nurses and our doctor only 5 minutes in the examination room. Additionally the staff offered us between procedures some snacks for our toddler, it was very nice. Thanks for the best and quick service. Highly recommended."
