"They LEGALLY stole my jewelry. Let me explain. I have been doing business with pawn express for a little over a year now. As the time has went on I have brought in more high dollar items=high dollar loan amounts. I recently fell on hard times early this year. I brought in my entire jewelry collection and asked for a loan of $2500. I had some of the same items in with them on a loan the prior year for $700 & paid on it for 7 months almost AND got it back out. Even when I was late I would call up and let them know OR THEY WOULD REACH OUT TO ME VIA PHONE CALL to remind me that I’m x amount of days past due. Basically they KNEW even if and when I was late I make my payments and get my stuff back out I HAVE YET TO HAVE LOST ANYTHING!!! I brought my whole collection in June 24th and got a loan for $2500. From June 24th until today august 23rd I have been into pawn express 2 SEPARATE TIMES to get 2 MORE LOANS. The first being in early July & the second being in early august. During my visit in July when getting a loan for over 4k on a new item I brought in I ASKED THE ASSOCIATE ABOUT MY OTHER PAWN & was told that I was current and still had some time before a payment WICH IS NOT TRUE !! I came in AGAIN in august to do another new loan and it was then that I was informed my pawn is late BUT NEVER WAS I MADE AWARE MY ITEMS ARE AT RISK FOR GOING OUT TO SALE. I never received a call (like they have in the past!) to remind me my items were well past due and at risk for sale….. the last text message I got was July 17th to an old device. Pawn express is WELL aware of what they did and I’m here to warn you ALL if you’re looking for an HONEST place PAWN EXPRESS ISNT IT. yes I am very upset about losing my items as some of these items I can NEVER get back (like my watermelon tourmaline butterfly pendant in the photo below). I had stand alone items within the bunch of gold that was pawned that were worth we’ll more than the 2500 that I loaned them for EVEN AT SCRAP PRICES but it’s deeper than that I feel as though some of the gentleman at pawn express took advantage of my situation and pulled a fast one to swindle most of my gold collection right out from under me. I will be getting my other 2 pawns out expeditiously and looking for a new place of business that moves with more compassion and INTEGRITY. SHAME ON YOU FOLKS AT PAWN EXPRESS."
