Reviews of St. Luke's Hospital - Easton Campus
"Called St Luke's and asked if they did routine Xrays at the Easton Campus on Sundays. (I emphasized twice I was referring to the Easton Campus). I was told yes, from 8:00 -12:00. I arrived at the Easton Campus at 10:45 and was told they DID NOT do Xrays on Sundays. I explained I called earlier in the week and was told they did. The reply from the receptionist was both hospitals have Easton addresses and they were referring to Anderdson. Anderson does Xrays on Sundays from 8:00 - 12:00. I said the sign at your front entrance says St Luke's Easton Campus and the sign at Anderson says St Luke's Anderson Campus. How is that confusing? Got a sorry from the receptionist but it screwed up my whole day. Now I have to try to get this done another time and day. Avoid St Luke's if possible."
"Don’t ever go here. You have a better chances with a crackhead in Kentington. From the front desk, to the providers, they are absolutely awful."
"I called twice gave all my impertinent information name, age address, phone number? Give all that information and she says I can't tell you who the doctor is because of HIPAA can't give it over the phone. I'll send it in your email and look at my email. I got three pieces of paperwork I got to fill out in order to get the name of my doctor that didn't operation on me in 2014 I says okay. Thank you for nothing. And hung up and call back again. They were quick to give me the information without even thought. No problem. So is it the first person that answered the phone doesn't know their job or doesn't care to do their job. Therefore, I'd rather go to LVHN. SO I FIND OUT THE NAME OF THE DOCTOR TRY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME I HAVE TO GO TO EASTON I DON'T WANT TO DRIVE TO EASTON NO ATTEMPT ACCOMMODATE ME OTHERWISE SO ST.LUKE HOSPITAL SUCKS"
"I went to the Easton ER, and was treated quickly and competently. I had a pulmonary embolism in my right lung. Then they insisted I transfer by their ambulance to Bethlehem and they may need to do a cath to pull it out. As my car was at Easton ER, I asked how was I getting back, and they assured my they would do it by their staff. In Bethlehem I was given a sonogram, twice on my heart. Even though my heart had good EKG and my bloodwork was good. Then they insisted I submit to a leg sonogram, Even though my legs were just fine, and my history showed it was not necessary, they just wanted a backup in case something happened. I told them no, and my attending cardio said very low risk They never cathed me, and when I refused the leg doppler they refused to take me to Easton, refused to call for a cab. If you are transferred from Easton, you will be on foot. And four big men will show you the sidewalk."
"If there’s ever a choice Easton hospital is always the last resort. My grandmother came in for chronic pains and nausea. Although there was little to no wait for treatment. I sat and waited with her while she got examined. All the while, I am overhearing hospital staff just a few feet from the room laughing and mimicking the sounds of throwing up as my grandmother yells out in pain and discomfort. I don’t get how your staffed in an emergency room and instead of treating your patients with empathy and respect; your gossiping and acting like a bunch of immature children.. This hospital is still by far infamously known for being the worst and it’s reputation still stands true."
