Throughout the years I can say without a doubt that Drew is an extraordinarily talented instructor who can bring the life into the lessons. Not only does Drew teach you how to grow within music he makes an extraordinary amount of effort to connect with you on a personal level and treat you with respect. He is extremely patient when it comes to learning, and is very understanding when it comes to different people taking different amounts of time to make steady progress. For example we spent months learning one of my grandfather’s songs “Five O’Clock World” so that I could play it for him, and whenever I almost gave up he always gave me the encouragement to keep practicing until I would master the song. "I started lessons with Drew Bentley in July 2017. I'm recently retired - a senior citizen with absolutely no musical training, experience or aptitude. "Drew is a super great teacher, I'm 16 and I've been taking lessons for a little less than a year and I've already learned so much on the guitar. I went in just knowing the basic chords and maybe a scale, but now I know several scales, I can improvise more confidently, and learning songs has gotten so much easier. It's great because Drew has such an extensive and vast knowledge of all styles of music, so he can teach you anything you want. In the time I've been there he's taught me some rock, some blues, some jazz, and also just techniques that work in every style. It's a super personal experience and he tailors each lesson to the specific student and their learning style, plus it's just flat out fun!
