"Absolutely love my doctor, but oh my goodness! ANSWER YOUR PHONES!! They sent out the wrong birth control and when I tried to reach them to change it, no answer! I left a message and was never called back. Every time I call, even if it’s during their hours, I get told that it is after hours. I did receive a call back, to which I couldn’t even return because it was “after hours”!!! It’s insane. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after reading everyone else’s reviews, I guess they just do this to their patients."
"The office provides excellent services, but they are extremely poor at answering phone calls. Each time I attempted to contact them, it required multiple calls before I could reach someone, and often, the nurse station would not respond. I even resorted to scheduling a telehealth appointment just to get answers for a concern I had during my pregnancy. While I recognize that offices can be busy, the level of difficulty in simply making contact is unacceptable."
"When I fell pregnant, I had hyperemesis gravidarum. I wasn’t myself then. My old obgyn refused to even see me before 11 weeks, but the nurse practitioner here saw me asap. She got me the zofran prescription that helped me stay alive and not give up on my pregnancy. I will be forever grateful to everyone at this practice who didn’t make me feel like my diagnosis was all in my head."
"I have been going to this practice for several years now and this year, I can't even get through to the office. I have been trying to get my yearly gyn appointment for 2 months now. They NEVER, ever answer the phone. They wait until you leave a message then, when and IF they feel like it, will call back. They then tell me Dr. Fitzgerald is booked 6 months out and her calendar for then is not up yet and to call back. This is ridiculous! I'm about ready to transfer my Gyn care to a new doctor. They don't even care if they lose patients. Very poor patient care relations. They need to be reported to the patient care advocate at Doylestown Health. Unacceptable."
"After 3 long years, I have decided to end my time with Doylestown Women’s Health Center. Tomorrow morning, I will be calling & terminating my account with them. I have had this problem every year with this practice, but this year takes the cake. I was withheld from getting my birth control prescription as I needed to come in for my annual appointment. This first time this happened, I was unaware I needed an appointment with them in order to refill my prescription so I was without for a few days which negatively impacted my cycle. Luckily once a weekday came, I booked the appointment and was sent my birth control subscription to my pharmacy the same day. The same thing happened the next year as they do not do courtesy calls or emails to let you know the time to book your annual check up is upcoming. This year once I noticed my renewal expired, I knew to immediately call Women’s health to get my annual appointment. I called last Monday and we booked my appointment for next month and the lady on the phone stated she’d renew my birth control immediately. It has now been almost a week and I have not been notified by my pharmacy that it is available for pick up. I’ve called everyday to which they say it is in process so I just assumed they were busy due to the holidays. But now after Friday, I still haven’t received it, that means I cannot have my birth control until at least Monday since Women’s health is closed on weekends. I finally ditched talking to the robot on the CVS phone number and got to talk with a staff member there. I was horrified to find that Women’s health had not contacted them at all, and it’s been a week since I was promised my renewal! I have now been without birth control for a week and a half and my body has been experiencing incredible side effects. I am spotting daily when I just finished my cycle. My body has become very lethargic and I am cramping way more than I ever have as of recent memory. Doylestown’s Women’s Health neglected me and as of result, I am suffering in health. I doubt they meant to hurt me, but with the lack of care and what I would call laziness, I am negatively impacted. I would also like to note, that every time I call them on a weekday, I must leave a voicemail. It is business hours for them and yet no one ever answers the phone. I’m not sure if they are short staffed, but its very frustrating to never have my intial call answered. By all be all, I will be calling tomorrow during business hours to address the pain they have caused me by neglecting to do their job and what they promised me. I hate being a negative person as I myself work in customer care and know how disheartening it can be sometimes. But I have been nothing but kind and just asking things a normal customer would. So why am I being ignored when I am a paying client? In the end, be wary of working with Women’s health. They neglect to help in every way when I have been nothing but a normal customer requesting a renewal of birth control. Nothing crazy, nothing special. Just a renewal of a prescription. Take note of their neglect and if you were thinking to use them for your birth control needs, run far far away."
