"I saw Dr. Diamond years ago when he had his own practice on Broad. He did surgery on my foot, placed pins in a couple of toes and...when the bandage/cast came off...MY SECOND TOE WAS UPSIDE DOWN!!! He said, "It shouldn't be like that" and took my toe, turned it around the pin so the toe nail would be on top. I'm still horrified thinking about it. And, the toes he operated on are permanently crooked, hurting worse by the year (74 y/o). Was he even in the surgery to close up or was it a student?"

"It was hard to pick a star level because the doctors are great. The front desk staff is horrible. I came in for an appt in April that I'd waited for for 2 months and was told the RTE (the system that tells the front desk of your insurance is active) was down and I'd have to pay out of pocket or reschedule. Normally, you'd just call the insurance yourself to verify. Also, verifying insurance is usually done prior to your appointment. So I had to go home and wait another 2 weeks. My son was also in the process of going through two surgeries with Dr Bernstein so it wasn't like I was going anywhere. The level of distrust and laziness was insulting. Fast forward to August and I have an ankle/foot injury that is getting worse. Swelling, unable to walk etc.. They scheduled an appt for a month away. I asked if in the meantime they could put an order in for an X-ray or MRI so we'd have it for the appt. I was told by Gail that they won't do that because I haven't been since since April. That was only 4 months ago so I asked what I should do in the meantime . Gail told me to maybe "find another doctor" Which I promptly did."

"UPDATE: I ended up in the hospital after I contacted this office 4 times and never heard back. I had an infection from surgery and could have seen someone at the office to get an antibiotic, but couldn't get in touch with the doctor. I received one call from the office manager the following afternoon, but never got a call back after I left a message in the office about how unhappy I was. Horrible patient care. Done with this office and probably St. Luke's in general. I like Dr. Bernstein a lot, but I arrived early for an appointment and waited 80 minutes in the waiting room while the office staff talked to each other in the back. A call could have been made to let patients know they are running behind. Got a parking ticket because I was on the street due to a small lot and there is no automatic door so it makes getting in with crutches difficult. I’ll drive to the Quakertown location to see the doctor next time."

"Dr. Diamond is wonderful. He takes time with each patient to thoroughly understand their concerns. I really like that. His office assistant is always friendly and makes you feel welcome. They are a great team! I would highly recommend Dr. Diamond with confidence to any of my friends, family and coworkers."
