"If I could give 0 I would definitely do. I called to request a referral for my recent dermatologist appointment. The lady at the phone took 1 min to get everything done for me, I was surprised! What a genius!! And now this is the seconde time I receive an online bill from the dermatologist because that genius didn’t send them anything… awful service! 0 for the front desk lady(I can’t remember her name) The doctors there are awesome by the way."
"Good luck getting anyone to pick up the phone. Good luck getting anyone to fax a simple referral. My visit was Thurs afternoon, it’s now Mon afternoon and they still haven’t done anything. (I’ve called 3x)"
"We have been beyond happy with St. Lukes, not only the new campus hospital in Quakertown, but the primary care office now as well. Every interaction with every single person enployed by St. Lukes, from the doctors, to the nurses to the receptionists, has been overwhelmingly pleasant. I'd honestly grown used to medical staff at hospitals, doctors offices, urgent cares, etc. having a certain disinterested attitude. Id gotten used to nurses having a cold, icy, unfriendly demeanor, or, worse, making you feel stupid or unworthy when describing your ailment; exasperated receptionists practically groaning in your face like you are inconveniencing them when trying to schedule an appointment; doctors assuming and accusing you of drug-seeking when you are in any sort of pain whatsoever to the point that you hesitate to even divulge any pain of any kind to them lest you be accused of fishing for painkillers....I'd gotten so used to a level of medical mistreatment that St Lukes almost knocked me over with how different they are. Quite frankly, my husband and I were so overwhelmed with relief and joy that we were close to tears during our first experience at St. Lukes hospital. It was the 3rd hospital we went to seeking treatment for him for something very serious after having been so poorly treated at Doylestown Hospital and Abington Lansdale. I had to practically drag him there bc he was done with hospitals at that point and was seriously just like let me die please. Whoever does the hiring for St. Lukes seriously deserves a raise. I cannot stress enough how amazing everyone has been. He had his first visit today at the primary care office and even the receptionist was over the top sweet and pleasant and made us felt welcome. Never have I ever experienced anything like this. It made ne realize just how grumpy people.are everywhere else. It's ridiculous."
