Reviews of Grand View Health Sellersville Outpatient Center
"I haven’t been to this location on three separate occasions for radiology services and I cannot speak highly enough of every single staff member that I’ve come in contact with. They are so friendly, wait times have been minimal, and they’re very thorough. Thank you!"
"I think the check in staff at the front desk are some of the rudest people I have ever spoken to . Especially the woman who sits to the left, she talks to everyone with such a tone and acts as if her job and everything is a bother ."
"I’d like to start by saying the clinicians at GVH are wonderful. I see both Dr. Hamilton and Tina Hutnyk who are extremely kind, caring, and thorough. However, I’m absolutely disgusted by how I was treated by the imaging staff at GVH. Tina ordered a mammogram to be extra thorough due to two subcutaneous growths, one on each breast. I previously had an ultrasound of both, but we both agreed a mammogram would be a good next step to be safe. I had nothing but issues from the moment I tried to schedule the mammogram. I called to schedule right after my appointment with Tina and after I gave my DOB I got “woah woah woah woah. You’re only 29. Why are we doing this” Simple answer: because my clinician ordered it for me. I got the runaround from scheduling about my age and how there needed to be another code used for my insurance to approve it. No problem. I happened to still be in the parking lot, so I walked back into the office and explained the situation. Tina’s MA had to get on the phone with the scheduling department and explain the code on my requisition form was in fact the correct code. I was finally able to schedule with the help of Tina’s wonderful MA. The day of my appointment (6/19/23) I got brought back only to get the same runaround. The tech felt the need to again, point out my age and was confused, asking me why I’m there if I don’t have any of the breast cancer risk factors. I explained why the imaging was ordered then was told she had to “check with the radiologist to see if they could do my mammo because they don’t know” I was left sitting in the changing room with the door open all while I could hear the tech talking to her fellow coworkers saying “She’s 29. She doesn’t have a family history and she’s not Jewish. I don’t know why they’d order this for her. Why is she here” At that point my blood was boiling. It goes without saying how unprofessional it is to talk about a patient right in front of them. I don’t know if she forgot I was right there with the door open but this is unacceptable on so many levels. She finally got the "okay" to do the mammo and brought me back. She never introduced herself. She never really even explained the mammogram process or walked me through anything which I was anticipating being that it was my first mammo. Luckily, I had an idea of what to expect being that I work in healthcare. I don’t think it’s fair I was treated this way due to my age and low risk factor. Breast cancer is becoming more prevalent in women under the age of 40. You cannot tell me I am the first 29 year old to have ever gotten a mammogram. Luckily, my results came back normal and I am very fortunate for that. However, due to breast density the radiologist did recommend annual mammograms. I can assure you I will not put up with this treatment again next year. As someone who personally works in healthcare, the type of care I received from the technicians at GVH is absolutely unacceptable."
"Staff at the outpatient lab are always kind, cheerful and ready to help."
"All my experiences at Grandview have been excellent! All 3 of my children were born at Grandview and I have also had to have numerous tests and procedures done there. The staff are very friendly, and the nurses, doctors and specialists all make every experience comfortable and pleasant!"
