"Me and my Pregnant wife had the most unbelievable, most difficult, disturbing, disrespectful experience here. We were on time for our ultrasound appointment, the hospital gave us no indication on where to go considering this was our first time. The lady at the information desk was on the phone when we arrived for 10mins. She kindly apologized afterwards, which was okay because we understood. She gave us directions on how to get to the office we needed to be. We arrived at Suite 303, to find the receptionist on the phone as well. After another 5-10mins of waiting she ended her call. She asked my wife for her information, then proceeded to tell her that she was 25mins late and would have to reschedule another week. My wife is 22 weeks pregnant, and has not had an ultrasound done yet. Our genetic testing was CANCELED in order to fit in ANOTHER patient. They rescheduled her 20 week ultrasound without notifying her and without her permission. We kindly explained to the receptionist the difficulties we have been having with St.Luke’s her entire pregnancy and how is not being here on time was not our fault. She seemed not to care, at all. She then proceed to tell us that it “does not matter, you will have to reschedule for another week” we explained to her that my wife’s doctor explained that the ultrasound HAS to be done between 20-22 weeks for an accurate reading. She then RAISED her voice at my pregnant wife, who was upset she has yet to see an ultrasound of our baby this entire pregnancy. My wife continued to try to explain to her it was basically now or never. The receptionist then proceeded to scream over and at my wife, to the point security came into the office to check out what was going on. This receptionist was working between the hours of 7-9AM when we arrived inside the hospital at 8AM. We will be changing hospitals as St.Luke’s has to regard or compassion for the patients. I have never been so disrespected and humiliated in my life. This is completely unacceptable and further action will be taken against the hospital and further action will be taken against the receptionist who cause stress to my pregnant wife and unborn child."
