St. Luke's Care Now - Phillipsburg 200 Strykers Road, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865

"The care here is awful-if you even want to call it that. I have been here before and have had better experiences but this was absolutely awful. I came in with a severe cough, sore throat, fatigue/weakness, and mentioned I had been experiencing chills and fever the past few days. I left feeling as though none of my symptoms mattered to the staff and they just wanted to rush me out the door. I also was not seen after I checked in as they took on another patient before me even though they checked in after me. I was only swabbed for the flu, was not given the option to swab for anything else, and when I asked “what do I have” and expressed my concerns of my violent cough and coughing up phlegm-the doctor told me the flu swab needs to come back first because it was not a rapid. Again I was not even told they were not performing a rapid and was given no other options. The doctor so simply put it “it doesn’t really matter the name of what you have anyways, so it doesn’t matter what the test comes back as, you just need rest and take some NyQuil or DayQuil to manage your symptoms.” I explained to her I actually did need to know since I have a chronic illness and am being treated for it with medication that already lowers my immune system, so this information is important so I can share it with my specialist. All she did was say “ok” and walked out the door. I also had to ask for a doctors note after she said to get some rest and her reply was “what, for today?” And was only willing to give me a note for tomorrow. If recommending rest, a day does not cover it. All in all this little $40.00 trip that I took to St Luke’s Care Now was a waste of my time, and my money, as I got nothing out of it all other then the feeling my symptoms did not matter and I did not matter as a patient. Sadly this is the only place in the area open on a Sunday. Will not be coming back here."

"Had an excellent experience! Waited for a period in reception, but once I was taken back for my check up Nurse Amy and Corey PA-C were all prompt and attentive. It never seemed I was waiting more than a few minutes between check up, X-ray, and diagnosis. Highly recommend"

"amazing staff for the most part. i had my ups and downs with them but at the end of the day they are working their hardest and trying to get sick patients in and out as fast as they can. remember they are a walk in facility, so chances of waiting are high but considering the odds that regular pcp are turning their patients away because they are busy and the urgent care are taking them in, they are doing a pretty good job."
