Reviews of Fort Meade Theatre
"It's nothing shiny or super fantastic. The ceilings are peeling in giant chunks. It was hot as heck inside. Concessions we're the basics, popcorn candy, and soda. The whole set up is a little strange. Having said that. I paid half of what I would have anywhere else for what I got. It's nice to be able to walk to a theatre that wasn't overcrowded. It's a toss up whether I prefer this over the cinemark but I think depending on the day and what you're there for would depend on why I go to either or."
"Old facility, but that's not why it's rated poorly. The ceiling paint is coming off, about to fall on some unsuspecting patrons, every last cup holder for the chairs is broken, and there is no cell service at all. The hvac is hit or miss, swinging from freezing cold to swelteringly hot. Popcorn is tasty though."
"Although it's seen better days, the chairs are pretty comfortable and you can't beat the ticket prices. The food is good and way cheaper than other theaters. The movie selection is limited because of one screen, but it's often they have pre-screenings or big name releases on the night of the release. All in all, above par for a base theater. Just don't look up."
"Only one screen. Prices are good but very limited showings available. Three showings per week. What really makes it worth going to is it being the only option you have sometimes. In that way, it's great to have that choice instead of none at all."
"Cheap movie price for a cheap overall movie theater experience. This validates the saying, "you get what you pay for". The theater itself is in a good location on post, but it's in bad shape with pain peeling from the ceiling, food service is cramped and unpleasant, the movie sound is not stereo at all, and the caustics makes people's chatter sound worst. Sorry."
