"Much better than Uniontown, Ben Franklin, Frasier, Albert Gallatin, and connellsville school district in teaching standards, and overall attitude of staff and students."
"Laurel Highlands for many reasons has to be the worst school i have ever seen. they are completely dense when it comes to discipline, instead of listening to the kids and getting their point of views they suspend them. the teachers there seem as if they are unlicensed and act very unprofessional. everything they do is to benefit the teachers and themselves, i have not yet seen them once care for their students. whoever calls the delays/cancellations has no common sense as to calling them properly. if you want to trust bus drivers who probably have never had a background check driving your kids to school when every district/business in the area has cancelled go ahead. but i for one do not think sending your kids to school when it is obvious they should have been cancelled/delayed is a good idea. especially when every district around you is cancelled, and your kids are stuck on a 2 hour delay!!!! ridiculous. the principals at the high school have no common knowledge on how to properly distribute punishments to students. also, the head of police in school i believe barron is his name is the absolute worst. i don't understand why they allow that man to still work in the school. i understand everyone has their good and their bad stories about laurel highlands school district but i have recently heard more and more bad stories, as well as parents taking their children out of the school due to them not doing their jobs properly. children are our future, and i do not trust these people to help raise my children into becoming adults. these are our children!! not animals!"
