"Dr. Guo healed me when western medicine failed. She is extremely skilled and knowledgeable, with a warm manner that makes you feel like she genuinely cares about you. Many clients who come to me for therapy experience chronic pain. I recommend they see Dr. Guo and give acupuncture a try."
"I came to see Dr. Jia Guo at the recommendation of a coworker and really glad I did. I have lower back pain from a car accident a few years ago and never fully recovered. It was a constant discomfort (4 on a scale of 1-10) that would occasionally flare up if I sat too long at work or in the car. Over the past year it was getting increasingly worse; to a point where I was taking Aleve multiple times a day and I didn't want to keep living like that. I read in the news and online that acupuncture was an effective treatment for pain, so decided to give it a try. My coworker had joint problems from running and saw results after acupuncture. Dr. Guo was incredibly knowledgeable and very sweet towards me and my condition. She came across very confident and reassured she could help me and treats a lot of patients with lower back pain. The needles pinched a bit the first time, but are very thing and not nearly as scary. I actually fell asleep during my session and noticed that my body loosened quite a bit, even after the first session. It felt like I had gotten a massage, but with needles? Sounds a bit ridiculous, I know. After several treatments, the pain not only subsided but my episodes were more spread out and after a month, the pain completely disappeared. I don't know the exact science behind how acupuncture works, but in my case, it really did wonders for my quality of life. I'm able to play with my baby girl and not be in pain or be dependent on substances to mask the pain. She's now treating me for women's health issues and I've started taking herbs, in addition to the acupuncture. It's different from my primary care doctors, but I'm really glad I kept an open mind because the results have been positive and I'm also noticing more MDs promoting acupuncture as well, especially for pain treatments. I highly recommend Dr Guo and encourage you to give it a try!"
