"I came to see Dr. Jia Guo at the recommendation of a coworker and really glad I did. I have lower back pain from a car accident a few years ago and never fully recovered. It was a constant discomfort (4 on a scale of 1-10) that would occasionally flare up if I sat too long at work or in the car. I'm able to play with my baby girl and not be in pain or be dependent on substances to mask the pain. She's now treating me for women's health issues and I've started taking herbs, in addition to the acupuncture. It's different from my primary care doctors, but I'm really glad I kept an open mind because the results have been positive and I'm also noticing more MDs promoting acupuncture as well, especially for pain treatments.
