"Objectively the worst experience I have had at a bank in over 30 years of using banks. Proof that the banking industry needs a massive overhaul. I came to this branch to make a deposit for a family member. First, the video system in the drive through is archaic with a level of zoom on the teller that shows you about 1/3 of their face. Second, the woman working there had no personality and was equally rude for no apparent reason. When she said the check I was depositing would be held for seven days, I asked why? Her response was to repeat to me two more times that the check would be held for seven days. I responded with "why?" Both times. She proceeded to switch off her camera and disappear for a few minutes. No, "please give me a minute, or please be patient." When she returned and turned the camera back on (again, another close up of her eye, glasses and some hair) she states, "because of the amount. If your family member has a problem, they can call the bank." Her mic drop moment was switching off the camera again. The tube delivered a receipt and that was it. Wow! Like wow. Really? I have no other words. My bank (a national bank) can transfer funds instantly. This so-called home town bank bills itself as friendly service that is better than big banks. No reason to hold the check, they can transfer the funds immediately. No reason at all for the terrible service. I had consider moving my accounts to this bank because we recently moved to the area and that is now a hard pass. Just wow!"
