"Because I'm a veteran, they are usually very helpful and polite. But it is the VA, and things are generally mishandled at the top end, leaving receptionists and nearly everyone there, frustrated, and always on the edge of cranky. Some VA doctors are great, some horrible. I've run into both in Allentown."

"Been here for months and in constant pain and all my appointments are months apart. Come here if you wanna die slow. The counseling and dental and X-ray are good. The rest is horrible. Meds always take forever to get refilled and most times are never ordered. Appointments are rarely scheduled when I do get through"

"All of the staff is caring and treated my dad with respect. Alice in audiology is a joy to work with and takes time to teach me on how to help my dad with his hearing aids. Dad is 99 yo and needs more care. They have accommodated all of his needs."

"All in all this VA is pretty five star out of five star in terms of veteran assistance and attitudes towards veterans. I have not yet once had a complaint and I've been going here for five maybe six years. The next closest VA that I've been to would be the one up in Wilkes-Barre other than that the Philadelphia and Coatesville are pretty much mediocre."

"I have tried calling several times to schedule an appointment to get my VHIC but nobody picks up the phone when I select to talk to enrollment person. It just rings, it doesnt even give me a choice to leave a message or a time that I may get someone. All I can say is they need to get there stuff straightened out and treat us Veterans with the respect we deserve. I would like to us the benefits that I have earned."
