"I went to this school as a kid and it was more than terrible!!!! Fights all the time, the school was always dirty and freezing in the winter, the bathrooms were always deplorable and freezing cold in the winter with only one radiator! Now my son who's in an autism support class is going there when I did NOT register him there!!! Last year my son had only 6 absences and now they're saying he had 32 absences and that's because the teacher Ms. Reynolds didn't care and wasn't doing her job!!!! Now I have to get help from a company called congressco who are sub- contracted through dhs to get it cleared up and closed! I hate that school!!!! Very unprofessional!!!!!!! I will be taking him out of that lousy school!!!! My son deserves better!!!!! The ONLY!!!!!, GREAT TEACHERS MY SON HAD SINCE KINDERGARTEN WERE MRS. PARKER, MRS, TRACEY WHITE AND MS. PEMANTEL!!!"

"I went to Junior high at this school in the early 70's and it was like a prison, fighting every day, getting jumped every day, teacher passing student just to get them out. There would be out and out brawling in the hallways with knives and guns and the teacher just avoided that hallway and move the other students on. There were arms cops at the school and it was still evil in there. If you wanted to eat in the cafeteria you were subject to pins being stuck in you, walking in the hallways you were punched, kicked, spit out, you name it. I cut 3/4 of the year while I was there. Pure Evil and It sounds like it still is!!"

"I'm on my last year at Jay Cooke Elementary School. I'm going to graduate the 8th grade. There are a lot of bullies at this school. The principal doesn't bother to do anything about it. There are a lot of fights there too. It's chaos everyday there. I can't even learn, but I do my best and I always make honor roll. It's only like 5 students out of 30 in every class that actually want to learn. Little kids run the halls all of the time. This school has no control what so ever."
