Central Greene School District

Central Greene School District, located at 250 South Cumberland Street in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to providing a comprehensive education for all students. We are excited to announce that on Monday, April 8, we will be embracing the extraordinary experience of the solar eclipse, a significant scientific event visible in Southwestern Pennsylvania. In preparation for this event, our educators will be engaging students in educational activities about the eclipse and discussing necessary safety precautions.

For the safety of our students, we have made the decision to dismiss all students early at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 8. We understand that this may require adjustments to your family's schedule, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students.

Additionally, we offer an Elementary After School Program and provide information on enrollment procedures. We also provide directions for obtaining clearances for staff, parents, volunteers, chaperones, and coaches.
