"Like the rest if i could give zero stars i would. The language barrier is bad he doesnt even understand when u talk to him! Lies about medical records and the entire IRMC is a JOKE and needs top down reconstruction!! thankn GOD im out of there I was his patient a little over two years and he literally made me worse then ever before!!"
"I wish I was able to give a negative star review. I saw Dr. Parekh yesterday (11/13/2023) and I’m still regretting my appointment today! Dr. Parekh listened to what I had to say and some how decided to put in my medical records that I am a cocaine dependent (in remission) he gathered that from me telling him I had a problem when I was 16, I’m mow 42. He also diagnosed me as a poly substance abuser, I’ve never taken pills in my life! I even told him that. He also diagnosed me as an alcoholic in remission after telling him I partied at the age of 17. This could affect the rest of my life! I’m unable to purchase a gun or own a CCD permit. I’m also now labeled as a drug addict! I called Dr. Parekh’s office to tell them I want those all removed from my medical records and Dr.Parekh refused, he said he will not remove them because that’s what I have, I argued but it was pointless. I wouldn’t let a stray animal see Dr. Parkeh. This man has a HUGE language barrier and he also has a slight studder and it causes major problem! Oh and he doesn’t believe in ADD or medicinal marijuana. Please please listen to the reviews, I wish I would have."
"I would give negative stars if it were possible. I have never been more frustrated with a doctor In my entire life. Dr. Parekh did not help me what so ever. His idea of care is to over medicate patients and when I addressed my concerns he was nothing but rude. I also asked questions, as you do in a caregivers office, and he did not answer them. Instead he brushed them off. I would NOT recommend Dr. Parekh."
"Would give zero stars if it would let me. Let’s just say first impressions are everything, and first impression is that he shouldn’t be practicing anything. I have a history that goes back 20 years at least of DIAGNOSED ADHD, PTSD, and anxiety. My daughter, friend, and I go into my appointment first time with Dr. Anil Parekh just so I can get back on medicines I have took before that have significantly helped with such diagnoses in the past. Dr. Anil Parekh, psychiatrist at IRMC in Indiana, Pennsylvania never told me his name nor have even asked which one of us was the patient instead the first words he uttered was a question asking if I have mood swings, which I responded with no, then he responded with so they are extreme high and low mood swings, which I responded again and said no for a second time. I told him my previous diagnoses as listed above, to which he replied that ADHD isn’t a real thing, and when I confronted him about that, then contradicted himself and said well it’s the same thing as bipolar disorder, and tried to convince me that I am depressed and have bipolar then, which I replied to the distinct differences between the two, and also informed him that I’m not depressed at all, then he tried to write me a script for bipolar, and I told him that I won’t take a medication for a diagnosis that I don’t have, he replied are you sure you don’t want the medicine, which again I said why would I take a medication for something I don’t have, then asked if I would like adhd testing, and I told him yes and that I thought he said it didn’t exist. And, I proceeded to bring up his ratings on google and the comments about him misdiagnosing individuals, misreporting medical information, pushing medications that are clearly not safe for an individual, and increasing their dose when they described to him that it made them suicidal, and then the whole practice refused to give me a second opinion with another doctor there, and canceled adhd testing that I had scheduled there to prove to him what I have and that adhd is a real thing. All of IRMC is a joke. Go there if you have a death wish cause they will make sure to help you with that."
"when i tried to end my life due to the meds i was on, he just kept upping my dosage. i believe if i hadn't left this office i would be dead."
