"I've banked with First United for many years and have been happy with the bank up until the past couple of years. The staff are top notch and have always been polite and courteous. I am in the process of switching banks now for something that should have been handled much differently than it was Over the weekend 10/30-31, I was unable to send a 13.00 zelle transaction to a co-worker for food. On Monday I called the main office and was given the delete and reinstall the app routine. I asked to have her check with IT and see if there were problems. She called back and said there was fraud at the bank with Zelle and they shut it down over the weekend. No text or email to let you know, no letting small amounts go though, just a message on the website. No one staffs the office after banking hours when you encounter problems. I was told if I wanted to Zelle someone I would have to call in each time for approval. This is not service friendly and the reason I'm moving banks. I also didn't agree with the extended lobby closures either. This bank is not as good as it once was, customer service was awesome but not so much now."
