"Used to be an actual express experience here but alas no more. Place is packed with people coughing and sneezing everywhere and no barriers to give any relief from flying germs. I waited over an hour to be seen not by a doctor but a Physicians Assistant. Rooms were very beat up. Place needs work."
"I've been here several times. Each time I've had a good experience. The staff know what they're doing and are beyond patient with children. They also don't act like the vid is the only illness left in the world; they actually consider others and test for those accordingly."
"I visited this office several times with my 8 year old son. He was never seen by a doctor, only by nurses. All bills we received were billed as an MD doctors time, which was 2-3 times more than we spent in the office, including waiting in the waiting room! Last time he came complaining of ear pain. Nurse tried to evaluate his ear drum and said that he had a lot of wax and couldn’t see anything. When I asked her to clean the ear, she said it didn’t matter, I will prescribe antibiotic anyway. It was third time in a row we got the same antibiotic. This office is characterized by terrible service and ridiculous fraudulent overcharges. How am I paying for a doctors time when we never saw a doctor, and the time I’m being billed for is greater than the time of the whole visit"
"This place is not an urgent care. I took my daughter for a sore throat and it was billed as an office visit 30-44min visit. When I called them why I was billed as office visit they said they are express care and NOT urgent care so their billing is different. Now I have a huge medical bill to pay just because in google search it shows up as an urgent care."
"Baby with Croup: Our young toddler was struggling to breath, had a strider, and a barking cough. Took him to fogelsville pediatric express care where the dr diagnosed him with a double ear infection & prescribed antibiotics. Said he had a virus and ear infection nothing else I very directly asked the Dr. If this could be Croup or RSV. She dismissed me with "if it were rsv it would be treated just the same, and it is not croup". Next day after hours of worrying and listen to our poor young toddler struggle to breathe we end up in the ER. Firstly, a single ear infection not a double. And, CROUP! It had advanced so much that he needed two breathing medicated treatments with in 1.25 hours, multiple nebulizer treatments to smooth/calm breathing, and steroids! We were then admitted overnight. Why should it get to 150% for a 14 month old to be taken seriously?! His safety is priority but now we are looking at an express care and er/overnight hospital bill. And all the Dr's and nursing staff can say "it can develope overnight" due to lawsuit worry. HE WAS BARKING LIKE A SEAL FOR NEAR 24 HOURS. Unacceptable poor practice."
