"If it were not for the audiologist who did the hearing test, I would not even consider leaving one star. After driving nearly an hour to and having waited months for, an appointment I was treated very rudely when I realized that my insurance card was not in my wallet. I explained that I had been referred by my primary care physician and that they could confirm my coverage with Fidelis. They refused. I then suggested that they could call Fidelis. They refused that as well. Was told by the receptionist and the very haughty office manager that unless I could hand them my card, that I would have to pay $150 up front. They said that this was the requirement of Fidelis. Next day, I speak to Fidelis and they assure me that is NOT true!! All they had to do was call them. Tried to speak to Dr Lai about the matter when he came in the exam room. He refused to help and walked out of the room as I tried to explain. I have never, in my 64 years, been treated so disrespectfully by a physician or their office before. I now have to go thru a minimum of a month and a lot of paperwork in order to get my money repaid to me from the insurance company. And even then, there is no guarantee I will. If you are in need of a Laryngolgist anywhere near the Jamestown, NY are, please steer clear of this office!!"
