"Their facility is super clean and the entire staff was very kind. It is never easy to say goodbye to a fur baby but doing it here made it much less painful. My sweet boy was on oxygen and had an IV in within minutes of our arrival. Thank you, Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital for your kindness and compassion."
"Grateful to the kind people who work here. My dachshund Maggie of 13 years was attacked by a German Shepard and unfortunately the damage was so bad the doctor said there was nothing to be done. Thank you to everyone there that helped make her passing a little more bearable."
"This was the worst experience we ever had with a vet. We understand that emergency veterinary services cost money and we're all for paying for our amazing fur baby. He's people strategically will try to coerce you or persuade you into purchasing emergency care for your animal. We arrived to building was locked. We were frantic as our dog was in the middle of the biggest largest amount of pain and anxiety she's ever been in. They open the doors after they took their sweet time. Just slowly walk into the button. After that we calmly explained what was going on. We were then instructed to call poison control but a specific one that they told us to call and then when we did my wife was on hold with poison control while the vet asked me to help weigh our animal and we did and then after that she said we will take her and examine her and I said I know what she needs. She needs to throw up, give her some hydrogen peroxide or whatever you can. Kopectate. Or whatever. Anyways it wasn't until after they took her to the back when she came out and said you need to fill this form out also and it's going to be $200. My wife called me explained we don't have that. Can you help us and she said you can apply for funding. If not we can't help you. We immediately said give us back shadow our dog. Furious as we were. We tried to leave with causing his little as seen as possible. As you can imagine, we were frustrated and feeling helpless as these people waited until they had our animal in the back. Thinking that we would just fall into there a little medical trap. We all know as soon as we knocked on that window she could have said anything right then in there like excuse me but it's $200 for emergency care. Are you sure you want to come in or anything instead of trying to coase us? It was scammy. She probably wanted cash, besides the fact she wasn't helpful. Helpful. She wouldn't even sell me hydrogen peroxide, I was going to use this to induce vomiting for my dog has directed online. Anyways. Our dog is okay. It survived without their help. I just saw this chance to leave a review and I want anybody to know. Do not come here unless you have lots of money at least $200 to get started. I'm sure they have a lot more in store for you if you decide to go forward with it. If you can give up 200 you can give up another $800 I'm sure Great business model though. Pray on vulnerable people at their weakest state where while they are maximum emotional state. I mean if that's not a strategic business move I don't know what is. I would advise that they reevaluate how they handle emergency care and at least make it known that if you ain't got 200 bucks your animal's going to die at their doorstep. Thanks a lot guys for nothing. Maybe go to another customer service or HR training on how to handle people or conflict resolution or something like that."
"Highly recommend! They always take great care of my boy. Called in the morning to let them know I was going to be a walk in that afternoon because his ears were bothering him. Got us in and they were extremely patient with him even though he doesn't like his ears messed with. Got the meds he needed and he is now home napping. Every time he goes for his checkups they are so great with him as well. I'm an over protective dog mom but I know every time we go he is in great hands! Also the front desk ladies are always super friendly and give him his head scratches that he loves!"
"Helped save our dog's life! Our dog fell from John Rock and lived thanks to the effort of the rescue team and vet. I adored the original vet (Hughes) that we met. He was positive and very informative. The only negative was the $600 above the high estimate which was for a charge that they knew they had to do (put hip back in place). The vet techs were amazing as well. Tiffany (I hope that's her name) was phenomenal. I cannot thank you all enough for providing care for my dog and getting him back to us."
