Reviews of Bengies Drive-In Theatre
"The movie was good and the drive in was fun and cozy, easy to hear w the boombox I brought and good projection, but the management is WEIRD! So many rules, hyper conservative and very uptight. We had the hatchback of my car open like 30 minutes before the movie started and a guy came to tie it down so other people behind us could see, but we realized we couldn’t see with it tied that way so instead of letting me and my friend have a discussion about how we wanted to watch the movie and if we should move the car so we could watch from the front seat the man started SCREAMING at us very aggressively. We moved and watched outside and it was cute but like, get your man that was so intense. Also they have this in the women’s bathroom and I couldn’t stop laughing. A simple “it’s illegal to do that in public” would do. Fun but weird culture."
"Saw Barbie here! Great everything, including t-shirts! Outside food is allowed for a $20 surcharge, which I thought was fair. The also rent chairs and radios if you forget yours!"
"Went to Bengie’s for a double feature: Barbie and No Hard Feelings. It was packed, but we had no issues! They have people who help you park (it’s very dark) and guide you through the property. The video and audio quality was really good, equivalent to a regular movie theatre. The line to get in was REALLY long, so definitely arrive very early if you don’t want to miss the beginning of the movie. Bathrooms and food available on-site."
"This is the perfect place to get away and do something different. And special socializing just People enjoying the outside watching a movie eating food popcorn funnel cakes. This is the best place to take your kids on the weekends at night."
"The first thing that impressed me was how easy it was to find parking. The instructions were clear, and the venue was easy to locate. Once we arrived, we were happy to see that the food was reasonably priced, and the quality was excellent. It made the experience even more enjoyable. The radio signal was strong and we had no problems hearing the movie soundtrack. We loved the fact that we could tune in to the movie's audio through our car stereo, which added to the immersive experience. It was a unique way to watch a movie, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The overall venue was also very nice. The layout was well-designed, and we had a great view of the screen from our car. We were impressed with how well-organized everything was, from the parking to the concessions. It was a seamless experience from start to finish. Overall, I would highly recommend the drive-in movie theater to anyone looking for a fun and unique way to watch a movie. The reasonably priced food, clear instructions, strong radio signal, and easy-to-find parking make this a great experience for everyone. I will definitely be coming back again soon!"
