"I saw Dr. Simon Amsdell today and was not impressed. First, I am used to doctors knocking on the door before coming in, which he didn't do. Then, he brushed off every single concern I had and didn't really listen to anything I had to say. The frustration of not being heard drove me to upset, and when I took a moment to collect myself, he took that as a sign to end the appointment. The end result is that I didn't feel valued as a human at all, let alone as a patient."

"Dr Amsdell came in and immediately knew what the problem was and suggested surgery. He considered my active lifestyle and recommended surgery over merely a cast. Appreciated his honesty and concern for my longterm health."

"I highly do not recommend. I’ve had an issue with my foot for over a year and once non surgical procedures didn’t help he didn’t do anything for me. After living in North Carolina for 3 months I found a great surgeon who is about to operate on my foot after spending 5 minutes in the room with me and doing multiple sets of X-rays and MRI after DR amsdell said he wouldn’t need an MRI. DR amsdell does not listen to what his patients have to say and is very arrogant about his work. If you don’t want your issue solved and would love to pay for nothing to be fixed, this is your place!"

He did not help me at all and didn't seem to want to help or care or to hear anything i had to say about my serious condition . I strongly do not recommend this doctor."
