"Well I'm biased, having worked here for four years now. If anything, this is a place where you can maximize your enjoyment by what you contribute to the outcomes. You know the expression "life is what you make it?" Well that applies here."
"Beautifully maintained historic Hotel where the Queen Liliuokalani lived during her attempt to stop the United States from annexing the Hawaiian Nation"
"The location is incredible for young professionals. The history of the place is top 10 in DC. If you want to start your life sans kids start here. The only issue could be appliances. Understand that going in. Also, it being historical understand dimensions of what you want to bring into your space."
"The Cairo with it’s 12 floors was the tallest building in Washington when it was built. People began to become concerned about the future of the District’s skyline and as a result a height restriction was installed in the city’s building code. As a result the views from the Cairo are fabulous. Add on the marvelous carvings of animals & plants all around the building and you have a site that a sizable number of locals would live to live in (myself included)."
"Greatest location in the city, in my opinion. I lived in The Cairo for almost twelve years and loved it: beautiful architecture and history, terrific staff. You can see for miles and miles from the rooftop, which has a refurbished deck."
