"I would avoid this school if you are a first time parent looking to enroll your child for the first time in a pre-k/daycare, and or are not ok with allowing your child to be displayed on Social media. We were told and in fact encouraged during the tour that we would be able to observe our sons first few days while at Stellar (We had vocalized there was some separation anxiety issues.) Fast forward to approaching our sons first day and we were told absolutely not, it’s against their policy and we were to drop off our child and leave. They informed us that in their expertise “this was the best.,” and very abruptly that if we didn’t agree they would refund our money. This should have been the first red flag for us, but as new parents we thought this was the norm. While filling their forms we opted out of allowing Stellar to publicly post our sons photo in social media platforms to which we were told our son would be “the only kid in the whole school who isn’t allowed to share his photos on public platforms.” And if we didn’t give the permission to use our child’s photos at their leisure we would not get any photo updates at all as far as our sons progress. The ultimatums we were being given just did not sit well at all at this point and we had to let the school know they just were not a good fit for us. I’m hoping this reviews will spare someone the time it takes to look into good facilities for their children, it is imperative to know that the place has your child’s best interest at heart and unfortunately we were not getting that feeling with Stellar. After asking around to other moms who attend different schools in the Hillsborough area and surrounding areas, we are learning this is not the norm. We are relieved to have seen these red flags before our son started. Best of luck to all parents going through this journey, please do not just settle for mediocre, there are way better facilities out there. **The reply from the owner is a perfect example of how this facility is run. Stellar unfortunately provided us with misleading, incorrect information. It wasn’t a misunderstanding on our end, we were told directly we could stay to ensure a smooth transition for our little one (this was pivotal for us choosing a school) And instead of saying we apologize for the conflicting information we provided you, they tried to turn it around like we are the ones who made a mistake. I’m glad to hear this facility has served so many families successfully and if you are the parent who is ok with simply dropping your child off at the front door (they said it’s still a Covid protocol, absolute joke) and not having any say so of where your child is displayed online then this place is perfect for you for sure! Please do your research on this facility, you will see other reviews with similar sentiments. And I wish I would have investigated a bit further myself before wasting our time."
