"Im not to happy! I signed up for a 5 bedroom and section 8 in November of 2017. It took till December 2018 for me to be #2 for 5 bedroom. I'm a mom of 6 kids I told them in December I'm homeless and needed a place. I was told ok. Well here it is 2019 I'm still homeless with 6 kids and still #2. I'm not understanding how much points can someone have more then me? The only income I have is social security, 6 kids and staying in a shelter instead of being put in a home. Maybe if I go to them and say I'm homeless with no income and 6 kids I will get the 5 bedroom? I contacted the mayor he said he talked to the director and was told for me to go to the office in December and tell them I needed housing. Nothing happened! Talked with mayor a day ago and he said he was surprised I haven't gotten a place yet when I'm in serious need. how long do it really take for a person in really serious need to get a home? They need to stop having there picks and choose the ones in need"
