"Coming from a student from this school, I have to say that this school is terrible. The majority of the students in this school are racist and rude. I have also faced sexual harassment on several occasions, and the teachers don't discipline the students correctly, should they break a rule (or not do anything about it at all). The AP has an anger issue, and apparently hates children (which I think is ironic). Lunch is also like a zoo with all cages opened; the students jump over tables, throw food (some guy threw an apple at me once), and there are occasionally fights there as well. There is also a certain period in which you cannot go to the bathroom at all (because idiots decided to fool around in the bathroom and therefore anyone during the period cannot go for bathroom, as far as I know). The boys bathroom down in the basement (which also happens to be next to lunch) is also locked, and I doubt the teachers would let you go. Grades are also terrible at this school, with some students failing and not giving a #@?^ about it. TLDR: do NOT go to this school (if you're lucky you might make a few good,not-fake friends like I did, but don't take chances!) Edit: You can't even go to the bathroom to poop, or else you'd be faced with harassment and students trying to kick the bathroom door down."

"There are absolutely no words to truly describe the way I am feeling in regards to this school.... This school is not only disorganized but the teachers are in fact some of the most rudest people I have ever met in my lifetime... I had received a report regarding my child and attempted several times to reach out the teacher... To no avail I received not one single solitary response , until I made a threat of going over her head (Ms. Cook 2nd grade)if she couldn't be of any assistance. They are supposed to educate our students.... What has gotten into them... My daughter education wise they said went down, I find that very hard to believe when I have a whole library of books which my child reads.... She is rude disgusting and I have a true issue with that... In school the teachers are supposed to protect our children, communicate with the parents if something is wrong... But not at Ethan Allen Elementary.... No sir, they are more worried about dumb stuff like a kid playing in a desk but didn't notice the child belongings went missing, or how about not advising the parent that the child was injured? This school is a MESS!!!! If anyone is looking for schools don't send your child to this one!!!!!"

"I have been in this school for 6 years, and the overall experience was pretty nice. However, some students aren't so friendly and as a result I have been injured. Students often get injured by other students and may have been bullied as well. Fights may also happen from time to time, so I recommend to not bring your child if you are worried about them being hurt. Most teachers are really nice and I love my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Johnson. Best wishes to all my friends still there."

"Staff is incompetent and lazy. Children are permitted to run the halls and fight with no recourse. Truly an example of a failed school. I'm sure the children reviewing this school gave it great reviews because they loved running the halls all day, although, I'm surprised the students could form semi-complete sentences for a review."

"The teaching staff in grades K - 2 is terrific. Most of the other grade teachers are earnest and hard working. The previous principle was a lazy, disaffected slacker and the (hopefully former) A.P. has anger management issues as well as being unprofessional with regard to her interpersonal skills with staff and parents. The inept school administration (along with significant lack of parental involvement in and out of school) lead to widespread lapses in student discipline in grades 6 - 8. A new principle is starting this fall and has a good deal of experience with educating kids in grades 6 - 8. Hopefully, this will be the start of positive changes in teaching and managing the older children"
