"The owner is a gentleman and is always eager to help me find what I need. Considering gas prices at an all time high, Captain Sam's is decent on their prices to bring me through to half a tank to travel to wherever my destination is. They have a wide variety of sodas, snacks, cigarettes and alcohol. Their drive thru is also very convenient."

"What made this place once unique was its familiarity, in the mornings or in the evenings stopping by would almost always guarantee running into friends and family. Perhaps have a quick chat about the day, local gossip, has been lost. While the new owners are certainly facing likely prejudice from the local townsfolk some of the changes have caused the allure of the old liquor store to be lost. The low rank now represents all that it is, a small town convenience store with overpriced goods (limited stock at that) but lacking the small town charm."
