"Autumn is amazing. She always makes me feel validated and understands what I am going through. She is so kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Definitely the best counselor I have ever had. Highly recommend her!"
"I was terrified to seek help for my mental health and at a loss on where to go and a friend recommended this facility to me so I checked them out. I absolutely love it here, my therapist is amazing and actually listens when i babble on and is informative, kind, personable, and genuine and takes the time to talk with you and work out your problems no matter how big or small they are or may seem at that given moment, as for the psychiatrist she’s so just as equally amazing and doesn’t try to just push meds off on your and rush you out the door, she’s very patient and kind and makes sure you’re getting the right medication that’s best for you and doesn’t hesitate to answer any questions you may have. I felt so welcomed here and highly recommend them to anyone!!"
"I used to use family behavioral but wanted my son in therapy. So since axiom had a therapist available we switched. It was the worst mistake I have ever made I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy go here. They are very unprofessional. I have never seen a more disorganized company their doctor prescribed my sons medicine we told them the wrong pharmacy and since we told them the wrong pharmacy they now will not give my son his medication. I am disgusted they are telling us we need to see their doctor again when we just had an appointment."
"I wish I could give them negative stars but I can’t. I called over a month ago and talked to a person in the new Kensington office for about 10-15 minutes. She took my daughters name, personal info, insurance, etc. even verified that it would be covered. Gave me the date and time, and the therapists name (which I don’t remember at this point), as well as how to get to the office. Told me someone would call the day before to confirm. Fast forward to the day before and I never get a call, so *I* called the office and got someone in uniontown who not only couldn’t find the appointment but couldn’t find my daughter’s information in the system!! So my whole conversation apparently never took place? The woman who was in the uniontown office told me that she would get ahold of the new Kensington office to “figure things out”, and then someone would call me “first thing” the next day. Liars. They’re all a bunch of GD liars. Nobody ever called because I was home all day. I didn’t bother calling them back because this review is worth more of my time and emotional labor than dealing with them again. Never ever use these people. Ever."
"If you have the opportunity or ability to receive care elsewhere, do it. Both my partner and I sought mental health services from axiom and are both greatly displeased, frustrated, and disheartened from our experience here. For starters, they have no appointment reminder system. No text, email, or call to let you know your appointment is coming up. For mental health care services treating people with adhd (like myself & partner) that is useless and beyond irritating. The doctors are ALWAYS late by 20 or 30 minutes. It is not only annoying, but also extremely disrespectful of the patients time. It is hard enough getting an appointment driving out to the office and taking off work. And then have what would be a 30 minute appointment take an hour and a half because the doctor is running behind. The care here has not been culturally competent, effective, or helpful for either me or my partner. The way virtual appointments happen is over zoom, with not meeting link, just the ID code which I wasn’t given ahead of time and always would have to call the office to get. I had three appointments that were all essentially intakes that did nothing to start a care plan or medication management routine for myself. This was the biggest waste of 4 months trying to get help here. I am writing this review because at this time I am waiting for my partner who had two appointments today. He was told they were at 1:45 and 2:15 we called this morning to confirm that. We arrived at the office at 1:30 he was then told he had already missed the appointment it was actually at 1:00 so then he waited for his second appointment and it has been over and hour and no one has seen him still. Beyond frustrating would not recommend this practice to anyone."
